Random Word/ Image Association This lesson is to find idea and try to get the best and simple method/idea.
Plus, we get to try solve the problem given by some random image. From that, we cannot use the image itself to solve the problem but with the opportunity that created by that image.
The rule are, do not combine the problem in the random word.
This is some example and exercise;
How to make a person stop smoking in 6 month time?

Juxtaposition (More Exercise)
Juxtaposition (More Exercise)
Affective analogies is where emotion are similar or resemblance. For example, use of animal to explain a certain characteristic of a person and this type of analogy usually being use during conversation.
Here are some example;
Life is full of lies like a cat wearing a bunny ear
Happiness only stay with us for a while just like time, it will go away from us.
Love is look beautiful form the outside but one you taste it you feel the burning like the chillies.

Juxtaposition (Lesson 5.1)
Another part of it that is. It was rather interesting to see many contrast examples that she has shown us in the class. She also thought us the meanings of Simile and Metaphore. I think these two words are very important in our life. We are constantly using it every now and then.
Simile is a figure speech in which two fundamentally unlike things are explicitly compared, usually in a phrase introduced by like or as.An example is like, your lips are red like roses. or, your Strong as a bull
Metaphore however is a figure speech in which an implied comparison is made between two unlike things that actually have something in common. But does not use words "like" or "as".
An example is, love is a rose.After that, Mr. RadziBedu continue the lecture and do some exercise. Here it is;

Juxtaposition (Lesson 5)
Juxtaposition
Juxtaposition is the composition of situation in the similar manner for the purpose of compare and contrast.
Literally, juxtaposition means two matters running in contrast.For example, sad emotion and happy emotion in a movie scene. The purpose is to create curiosity about the particular situation and making the development of story more interesting.
Random juxtaposition is the technique used to generate creative thinking; by looking 2 objects in a same manner as if they are the same. For example, a problem and a random concept or object, are compared to find a new solution where no one has thought before.

Associate Mind Mapping (lesson 4)
Associate Mind Mapping
This week's lecture is almost same as lecture in lesson 3,but it is about associate mind map.
Associate mind mapping can go as crazy as long as the link of topic is still there. It helps in preventing the generation of stereotype ideas.
Using associate mind map, we can think of anything under or even out of the sun! There is no right or wrong but only good or bad. A good idea will always related to the main topic even when it is crazy idea; while the idea is considered bad when it is not relevant at all.
Reflection on Lesson 3
Overall, today class is easy to understand.We have done some interesting class exercise before we end the class.
here are some of the associate idea about mortar and pestle;
7;
-This is two things from seven sacred items that is worship long time ago
Talk;
-to tell secret message that certain people only know, like Morse code.
Hair;
-The fossilized hair and beard and probably belongs to some wisdom guy.

Mind Mapping (lesson 3)
Mind Mapping
Tony Buzan is the founder of mind mapping. He is an author and also an educational consultant. 'Use Your Head' is the Tony Buzan famous writing and he also show his mind mapping technique in this book.
Mind mapping is a very good technique that we can use it in any works to represent our ideas, task or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. By using this technique it will show us the overall picture of any key words we use to create this mind map.
Reflection on Lesson 3
One thing that I have learned is that try not to give information that other people already know when doing a mind map.
Usually, when I was asked to do a mind map, the first place that I always get the information from is my mind. Well, when the idea is in my mind, there is high chances that it is on others mind as well. This stereotype idea will directly weaken the idea. So in order to get an outstanding idea, think without your mind. (That is what the lectures say, just to tell us to not think in a linear way.) It does not mean that we have to go crazy.
The mind map is a good way of generate idea, starting from brainstorming, write down whatever words come to your mind. Filter them and arrange them in a proper manner. Later on, improve the content by doing researches on the topic. That will make the mind map logic and at the same time unique.

Novelty, Creativity, Innovation, and Invention (lesson 2)
- Novelty
- The creation that is useful to the society.
- For example, the Apple developed the Ipad which is a tablet computer.
No one has done this before so Ipad is really good example of novelty invention in our
century.
- Creativity
than other
- It is also to create thing that already existed into interesting and fun.
- For example, the advertising method make use the everyday thing to show their stuff.
- Innovation
- Introduction of new things or methods that is useful for the user by improving its
characteristic, functionality, appearance.- it is also create that already exist and being
invented with the new appearance.
- For example, this mouse.
- Invention
- A creation that is new or in a process from the study and experimenting.
- It is also make a simple modification to a existing model to create a better things
- For example, this butter stick make it easier to spread the butter on the bread.
Reflection on Lesson 2
First, it is kind good, but the slide are full with words that make me sleepy, ( partially it is also my fault because I sleep late that night). But still, I manage to understand what the lecturer want to tells the class about this topic.

What is Creativity? (Lesson 1)
What is creativity? Most of people think that creativity only exist in someone special or genius and if you are creative, you are an artist or a painter. Actually it is not true, all human are creative and if it not for the community maybe it is for themselves. It is not only just in art, but it is also in all field like business, economics, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, advertising, mathematics, music, science and engineering, teaching and many more.
Creativity is a thinking style that create a new idea that never exist, improving the already existing idea and maybe create some thing different. So if creating something in art is creative, what do you call a person who create a cellphone? An Inventor? No, because phone already invented by someone else. It must be creative because he create a wireless and portable phone which he improving it from the wire phone.
Almost all people in this world are not master in all creativity. For example a art people that paint something unique are not master in creativity to build a building. That's why almost all people have their different special ability or creativity. Even 3 years old kids also have their own creativity until his parent no idea what his child are doing.
So, creativity is not only limited to a certain person. But it is in all of us, it depend on us to realize it or not.
Reflection on Lesson 2
On week 2 class, we all having lecture about creative thinking with Mr. Yap Sau Bin. He is really something. However, i hope that our lecturer can show us more movie like our previous MLC class during Alpha year.
